K-tech Charities Announces Success of the 21st Annual Pink Ribbon Open Golf Outing

Wausau, WI – June 27, 2024 – K-tech Charities is thrilled to announce the success of the 21st Annual Pink Ribbon Open Golf Outing, held on Monday, June 3, 2024, at the beautiful Wausau Country Club. This year’s event raised an impressive $74,736 to support local cancer patients with the cost of their care, bringing the total amount raised over the years to a remarkable $1.5 million.

The Pink Ribbon Open is dedicated to raising funds to help cancer patients in our community cover the costs associated with their treatment and care. As healthcare expenses continue to soar, K-tech Charities is committed to ensuring that no patient faces their battle alone.

Event Highlights:

  • Funds Raised: $74,736 this year, totaling $1.5 million over 21 years.
  • Format: 18-hole scramble with exciting prizes for top teams, longest drive, closest to the pin, and more. 
  • Silent Auction: A variety of exclusive items were auctioned, with all proceeds supporting local cancer patients.
  • Raffle Drawings: Fantastic raffle prizes were won throughout the day.
  • Hole Sponsorships: Local businesses and individuals sponsored holes, showing their support and gaining visibility.
